    Welcome to my virtual bookshop!

I'm an award-winning author, photographer, and recipe-developer. My passion is writing timeless books and digital zines that inspire and educate home cooks about the value of baking with fresh, seasonal ingredients. I got my start in the test kitchen of Cook's Illustrated magazine and America's Test Kitchen. Since then, I've written three baking cookbooks and published articles in Fine Cooking, Yankee Magazine, Boston Globe, Boston magazine, and Serious Eats. I've also been interviewed by NPR's All Things Considered, Chronicle, and CBS Evening News.

A Thoughtful, Seasonal Approach to Home Baking

My cookbooks and zines are rooted in the seasons and written for the way we live today. These recipes honor the flavors many of us grew up with—fruit-forward desserts, simple cakes, rustic puddings—while embracing a thoughtful, sustainable approach to baking. I value local ingredients, practical methods, and the power of food to bring people together.
